The location was great, within a close distance from Agia Marina. The hotel itself was in a great area, next to the MamBo beach, Mambo bar, and MamBo garden, and Next to the best restaurant in the area " mamboo "😀

Gorgeous breakfast choice with Greek food and local jams, as example. Kind staff, reasonably spacious and recently refurbished rooms with a big terrace, TV, as example.

I was so dissapointed! The pool was filthy and honestly, i expected a cleaner space befitting such a luxurious hotel, not to mention i arrived to a room missing essential items like milk for coffee, shocking! I almost gave a good review, but the lack of basic amenities and such slow service ruined it for me.

Excellent boutique hotel. Smart rooms with design forniture.
Excellent breakfast but only for nordic people, rich choice of animal fats and poor of sweets and fruits. Absolutely not adapt for italian people. Fortunately, lots of bars/restaurants nearby.

Cleanliness left much to be desired. Reports of dusty rooms and dirty coffee mugs were more frequent than you'd like, showing inconsistent standards that shouldn't happen here. The beach is overcrowded with too many sun loungers packed together. Many found the lack of basic amenities like milk for coffee upon arrival frustrating, and the separate billing for drinks during dinner, even water, felt off for a half-board setup. Noise from nearby bars can disrupt the peace you're looking for after a long day, and the garden, while nice, suffers from insufficient sunbeds, leaving guests scrambling for a spot to soak up the sun.

Very nice beach, supermarkets and other shops in close proximity. Nice modern design.
I would prefer bathroom to be more sound proof, have a normal door that locks.

The beach is very close. Small sandy beach and the sea is clean, fantastic and very calm.

Great room design, but the beach was way too crowded for my liking.

Nice location, 1 minute from the beach (not private, 6 eur for sun beds..) and several good tavernas and bar around. Modern fixtures.
Breakfast definitely not suitable for italians..absolutely no croissants, no sweets or biscuits, no cappuccino. The orange juice tastes like vitamine integrators.

The friendly owners Dimitris (who is fantastic in getting back to you through hotel e mail address with any query's) he works along side his brother George also some of there lovely familys. It's location as Bali is hilly and it was a short flat stroll through to beach and tavernas ..By far the best hotel in Bali and I cannot find any faults at all. Had a lovely room overlooking the sea and gardens so could watch the sunrise which I love to do. The pool is illuminated at night with changing colours and is very stunning and would recommend pre dinner drinks in the bar and a nightcap, Ivan the handsome Bulgarian barman makes a mean Mojito. And also some lovely fruity shots. Stayed bed and breakfast which was great as local tavernas serve great food and local wine is cheap and quite drinkable. Would defo go back early season again as love the peace and quiet and they will spoil you promise, went May 4-15 which was just right and weather was amazing. Anyway enjoy regards Jane and Ged from uk

Good room, good location, with a clean and modern ambiance with a tv and a lovely view of the beach just steps away.
Nothing not to love.

It is a small, picturesque resort where the locals are very friendly. You can have an excellent selection of salads in the adjacent Mambo bar which leads directly onto the beach

Bali Star is a welcoming place with friendly and helpful owner and staff. The rooms have recently been refurbished and are attractively decorated. The shower was roomy with modern fittings and plenty of hot water. We usually like to try different restaurants when we are away but the food at the Bali Star was excellent and we ate there every night. The beach is a short walk through the garden and across the road. This is a lovely hotel and we hope to return.
There is nothing we disliked.
